Prima facie, sale deed has been executed by the petitioners impostering as Vinod Kumar @ Chhanga and acting among themselves as witnesses etc. in order to sell off Vinod Kumar @ Chhanga's land who lives overseas in the U.S. The allegation, that the sale deed dated 18.7.2025, does not bear the signatures of the recorded owner Vinod Kumar @ Chhanga but that of some imposter, essentially brings forth an allegation of a false document being prepared This is a case where civil and criminal liability would co-exist. It is not a case of an essentially civil liability so as to entitle the petitioners to relief on foot of the very detailed submissions that the learned Counsel for the petitioners has advanced. In the circumstances we do not find this to be a fit case for interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. This petition is dismissed.
