(Oral) Petitioner herein, who at present is working as TGT (Non- Medical) at Govt. Middle School Runpu, u/c Government Senior Secondary School Kinnu, Tehsil Rampur, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, has approached this Court in the instant proceedings, praying therein to issue directions to the respondents to consider and decide his representation (Annexure P-1), in a time bound manner, whereby he has prayed for transfer from rural area to one of the stations of his choice after his having completed normal tenure at the present place of posting. - 2 - 2. Having regard to the nature of prayer and order proposed to be passed, this court sees no necessity to call for reply from the respondents, who are otherwise represented by Mr. B.C. Verma, learned Additional Advocate General. While putting in appearance on behalf of the respondents, Mr. B.C. Verma, learned Additional Advocate General, states that representation, if not already decided, shall be decided expeditiously. 3. Consequently, in view of the above, this Court without going into the merits of the case deems it fit to dispose of the present petition with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the pending representation of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned, while affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, shall also take note of the transfer policy formulated by the Government of Himachal Pradesh, which provides for transfer of an employee from hard/rural area to soft area after his/her having completed normal tenure at present place of posting and pass appropriate orders.
