The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the prayer to direct the respondent no.2 to take appropriate decision on the application of the petitioner dated 30.05.2025 for grant of fire-arm license of the petitioner under Rule 25 (b) of Arms Rule, 2016. 3. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that application dated 30.05.2025 is pending consideration before the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Bareilly hence a direction be issued to decide the same. 4. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Bareilly to decide the aforesaid application strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months unless there is no legal impediment.
