Report in the form of an affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent no. 4 is taken on record. The report reveals that earlier the respondent no. 7 had encroached upon government land but such encroachment was subsequently removed upon the petitioner approaching the learned Sub-divisional Executive Magistrate, Domkol, Murshidabad by initiating a proceeding under Section 147 of the Code of Criminal Procedure,1973. The report also reveals that presently there is no encroachment on government land. In such view of the matter, no cause of action survives for the present writ petition. 2 Accordingly, WPA 17114 of 2025 stands disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.
