After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she does not wish to press the present revision petition on merits. However, a request has been made that the learned First Appellate Court may be directed to decide the pending appeal in a time-bound manner. 2. Having regard to the fact that the dispute pertains to specific performance of a contract, and keeping in view that such contracts are required to be expeditiously performed with due expedition, the learned Additional District Judge is directed to dispose of the appeal within a period of one year from the next date fixed before the learned Appellate Court. 3.
