Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chhattarpur P.S. Case No. 162 of 2024 for the offence registered under Section 309(4) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Sri P.N. Upadhayay, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Palamau at Daltonganj.

On 05.09.2024 at about 2.00 pm, the informant was waylaid by two unknown persons. The accused persons robbed him and looted jewellery worth rupees fifteen lakhs.

Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that stolen jewelleries were recovered from the house of the petitioner.

In view of the submission made above, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
6.
The petitioner may, if so advised, renew his prayer for bail after six months.
