The present petition, seeking for quashing of FIR No.29 dated 27.03.2023, under Sections 160, 151, 148 and 149 IPC, Police Station Shahpurkandi, District Pathankot (Annexure P-1), and the charge sheet dated 19.07.2025 (Annexure P-4), has been moved on the ground that the petitioner was not apprehended on the spot and that conclusion of trial will take long time.
Learned counsel for the petitioner is pressing this petition only with regard to expeditious disposal of the case. In view of the above, the instant petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn, with a direction to learned trial Court to expeditiously conclude the trial, and dispose of the same as early as possible. 08.09.2025
