It is submitted that by an order dated 10.01.2024, this Court directed the appellant to deposit 50% of the total awarded amount before the Registry of this Court. In compliance of the said direction, the appellant has deposited Rs.4,25,671/- before the Registry of this Court on 23.07.2024. By this application, the applicant/claimant is seeking direction to the Registry to release the said deposited amount of Rs.4,25,671/- being 50% of the total awarded amount to the applicant/claimant. The prayer so made by the learned counsel for the applicant has not been objected by Ms. Roy, learned counsel for the opposite party/appellant. Accordingly, prayer is allowed. The Registry is directed to release the deposited sum of Rs.4,25,671/- being the 50% of the total awarded amount to the applicant/claimant, Toslima Begum @ Taslima Begum after proper identification.
