The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Jorapokhar (Bhowra) P.S. Case No. 81 of 2024, for the offence registered under Sections 341, 323, 325, 307, 379 & 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Smt. Nutan Ekka, learned Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad. On 04.06.2024 at about 09:00 A.M., 19 persons are said to have assaulted the father of the informant due to which he sustained injuries. It was submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against all the accused persons. It was further submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court as well as by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. -2- Mr. Abhijeet Kumar, learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that petitioner No. 1 Chandan Kumar Mahato @ Chandan Kumar Mahto and petitioner No.2 Harendra Yadav have criminal antecedents. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Smt. Nutan Ekka, learned Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad, or her successor, in connection with Jorapokhar (Bhowra) P.S. Case No. 81 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
