The work orders for the construction of the multi-purpose building was issued on 09.02.2024. The petitioner states he had completed the building. Yet the amounts which had to be paid stage-by-stage have not been disbursed. As there was no response to the representation dated 22.08.2025, he is before this Court. 2. When the matter was taken up in the forenoon, I pointed out 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 3 to Mr.Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate for the third respondent that it is not proper on the part of the State Department to extract work and not make the payments. He sought time for getting instructions. I got the matter back. 3. When I took the matter in the post-lunch session, Mr.M.Suresh Kumar, learned Additional Advocate General, produced a proceeding of the Block Development Officer / the third respondent. The report shows that the petitioner is yet to complete two works,namely, 1) Electricity Connection and 2) Placement of a Sintex Tank. 5. When this was pointed out, Mr.Kamadevan, states that the petitioner would complete the work within 10 days from today. Mr.Suresh Kumar states that if the work is completed, from the day of completion, the payment will be made within two weeks thereafter. The statements of Mr.Kamadevan as well as Mr.Suresh Kumar are recorded. 6. The writ petition stands disposed of .
