HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU
CJ Court
Case No. LPA No. 146/2025 in HCP No. 10/2025
Gurnam Singh th. Babli Devi
…..Appellant(s)/Petitioner(s)
Through: None
vs
UT of J&K and others
.…. Respondent(s)
Through: Ms. Monika Kohli, Sr. AAG with Ms. Priyanka Bhat, Advocate
Coram: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJNESH OSWAL, JUDGE
ORDER 11.12.2025
None appeared for the appellant even on the previous date of hearing and the position is just the same even today.
In fact, Ms. Monika Kohli, Sr. AAG submits, for, the detention order was passed on December 09, 2024 and was executed on December 12, 2024, thus, on completion of one year, it has lost its efficacy. And, perhaps for that reason alone, the appeal is not being pursued and be disposed of as infructuous.
In the wake of the above, the appeal is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
