Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to the respondent No.2 i.e. Commissioner, Agra Region, Agra to decide the Stay application No. Nill of 2025 (Bhikam Singh and others Vs. Surendra Singh and others) expeditiously, preferably within stipulated period which is pending before the Court of learned Commissioner, Agra Region, Agra and further be pleased to direct the parties to maintain the status-quo till the disposal of the stay application." 2. It is contended by that in appeal filed under Section 24(4) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, a stay application has been moved which is pending consideration before the before the respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made is for expeditious disposal of the stay application. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the respondent no. 2- Commissioner, Agra Region, Agra to decide the Stay application No. Nill of 2025 (Bhikam Singh and others Vs. Surendra Singh and others) pending in appeal, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits. October 6, 2025 A. V.
