Shanker Singh versus Rakesh Kumar Criminal Revision No.72 of 2025 28.03.2025 Present: Mr. Sunil Thakur, Advocate, for the petitioner. Cr.MP No.1083 of 2025 Heard. 2. Instant application has been filed under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated 10.02.2025 whereby, applicant-accused was directed to deposit an additional 30% of the total fastened liability [Cheque amount and compensation thereon] before the Trial Court to furnish the personal bond of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of Trial Court within four weeks. The period of four weeks’ granted on 10.02.2025, elapsed on 10.03.2025. 3. In addition to averments made in Para 3 of the instant application, learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions states that the applicant-accused-petitioner could not comply with the orders dated 10.02.2025 as he could not arrange for the necessary finances which was directed to be remitted/deposited in terms of order dated 10.02.2025. Application is supported by an affidavit. 4. Taking into account the entirety of the facts and circumstances, reasons spelt out appear to be bonafide and genuine. Even, the compliance of orders dated 10.02.2025 shall advance the cause by enabling to petitioner-accused to remit his liability. Accordingly, the instant application is allowed and the applicant-petitioner [Shanker Singh] is directed to comply with the orders dated 10.02.2025, within four weeks from today.
