JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER 04.04.2025 Heard Mr. R C Das, learned counsel for the applicants as well as Mr. M P Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. The applicant filed the Criminal Appeal No. 91/2025 before this Court. Now, the petitioner wants to convert the said appeal in a criminal revision petition. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for both the sides, this court is of the opinion that Mr. Das has correctly submitted that the criminal appeal aforesaid needs to be converted into a criminal revision petition. Therefore, prayer is allowed. Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal No. 91/2025 shall be registered as a Criminal Revision Petition. Further, the Interlocutory Application connected to the said criminal appeal shall also be listed along with the new criminal revision petition. The IA(Crl) stands disposed of.
