The petitioner claims that he has undergone a promotional exercise for the post of Data Entry Operator in the Labour Department of the Government of Uttarakhand, but till date, the result has not been declared.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has undergone the promotional exercise for the post of Data Entry Operator, for which a written examination was conducted long back, but the result has not been declared. He submits that with regard to Prayer ‘B’, for inter se seniority, it is not being pressed at this stage, however, the petitioner reserves his right to raise it at a subsequent stage, as and when such occasion arises.

Learned State Counsel submits that within two months, the entire process shall be completed.

In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the respondents to complete the entire promotional exercise within two months from today. However, with regard to Prayer ‘B’, the petitioner is always free to raise the issue as and when such occasion arises.
