Bhandari, Advocate for the respondent. 2. Petitioner is aggrieved by rejection of his claim for promotion as Downgrade Principal. The rejection order passed on 08.06.2020 is enclosed as Annexure-9 to the writ petition. The reason assigned in the said order are that; (i) petitioner is not the senior most LT grade teacher in the concerned institution and (ii), he has not completed required 10 years service as Assistant Teacher LT Grade. 3. The relevant regulations are on record as Annexure 4 to the writ petition, which were notified on 25.04.2018. 4. A teacher in a recognised school has to fulfil twin conditions for promotion as Downgrade Principal of a High School, namely, (i) he should be the regularly appointed senior most Assistant Teacher LT Grade and (ii) he should have been granted selection grade after completing 10 years of service as Assistant Teacher LT Grade. 2025:UHC:4735-DB 5. Petitioner is not meeting aforesaid two conditions. Admittedly, there is one Assistant Teacher LT Grade, senior to him, namely, Smt. Vimla Rawat (respondent No. 6 herein). Petitioner has also not completed 10 years service as Assistant Teacher LT Grade. Since petitioner do not meet the statutory requirement for promotion as Downgrade Principle, therefore this Court do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned rejection order. 6.
