The Court made the following Order: The petitioner is challenging the order passed by the Special Court for Speedy Trial of Offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. 2. It is submitted that the learned judge has dismissed the application filed by the petitioner seeking release of the car bearing No.AP-39-LR-1224. The petitioner is working as a Warden in B.C.Welfare Hostel and has been arraigned as Accused No.1 in Crime No. 232 of 2024 on the file of Eluru-ll
Town Police Station.
It also submitted that the police, while investigating the case, have seized the car belonging to the petitioner, and the currently kept idle and not maintained on a regular basis. This may result in depreciation of its value and may also become un-useful over time if the is not maintained. same is same

Considering the same, this Court is inclined to set aside the order passed by the Speedy Trial of Offences Under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, in Crl.M.P.No.150 of 2025 in Crime No.232 of 2024 of Eluru II Town Police Station. The car bearing No.AP-39-LR-1224 shall be released to the petitioner, subject to the petitioner furnishing a personal bond of Rs.50,000/- and a bank guarantee for an equal sum. The petitioner shall furnish the bank guarantee before the Speedy Trial of Offences Under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, and upon furnishing the same, the learned Judge may grant interim custody of the the petitioner, subject to the petitioner submitting an undertaking before the learned judge to appear as and when required for the purpose of trial. car to
