This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer: "(a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Additional Commissioner (Administration) Azamgarh Division- Azamgarh (respondent no.2) to decide the appeal No.250/A (Computer Case No.- C2006150000188) Jaggal Vs. Radheshyam 6 others, Under Section 331 (3) U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, 1950, pending in his court expeditiously preferably within the stipulated period as prescribed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended that an appeal filed under Section 331 (3) of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act is pending consideration which is registered as Appeal No.250/A (Computerized Case No.C2006150000188). The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said appeal. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending or issuing notice to the private respondents, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no.2- Additional Commissioner (Administration) Azamgarh Division- Azamgarh to decide 250/A (Computerized Case No. C2006150000188), filed under Section 331(3) of U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
