2025:UHC:6922 SL. No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS CLCON/361/2025 Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J 1. Mr. Siddhartha Sah, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. Applicant has alleged wilful disobedience of order dated 25.09.2024 passed in WPMS No. 2602 of 2024. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that despite that order, his signboard put on a piece of land which was given to him on exchange of some other land, has been removed. 4. However, perusal of the documents brought on record, it is revealed that applicant’s signboard was removed, pursuant to order passed by Division Bench in a PIL and thereafter under threat of contempt; thus, this Court is of the considered opinion that this is not a case of wilful disobedience of the order, as the Revenue Authorities acted in terms of the order passed by coordinate Bench of this Court. 5. Accordingly, the contempt petition is dismissed. However, applicant shall be at liberty to approach the competent court of law.
