HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 33108 of 2025 Court No. - 39 HON'BLE ARINDAM SINHA, J.
HON'BLE ARUN KUMAR SINGH DESHWAL, J.
1. Mr. Akshay Raghuvanshi, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client took National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) (UG) - 2024. On participating in third round of counselling, he was allotted admission in a college more preferred. Hence, as soon as the allotment letter came, he applied for refund of tuition fees deposited with the college in which he had got allotment in second round of counselling. He has challenged order dated 21st January, 2025 of respondent no. 4 (the first college) in demanding retention of 50 % of the tuition fees.
2. Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, learned advocate appears on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 2 (UOI).
3. We do not deem it necessary to direct issuance of notice on respondent nos.3 and 4. This is because we are not inclined to interfere as petitioner having got admission in the second round of counselling, took it and without resigning in time, thereafter went to participate in the third round of counselling.
4. The writ petition is dismissed. September 19, 2025 KS Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Ajay Kumar Bhatt, Akshay Raghuvanshi, B.K.Singh Raghuvanshi Counsel for Respondent(s) : A.S.G.I.
