Borah, for the petitioner Ibrahim Ali who has filed this application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 with prayer for pre-arrest bail as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Baihata Chariali Page No.# 2/2 Police Station Case No. 19/2025 under Sections 126(2)/132/296/131/121(2)/3(5) of the BNS, 2023. 3. Heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent State. 4. This is a case of wrongful restraint of police personnel against the accused who have restrained the police from discharging their duties. 5. I have scrutinized the case-diary. Investigation has progressed substantially. It appears that custodial interrogation may not be required. 6. Considering all aspects, the petition is allowed. In the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 30,000/- with a suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority under the condition that: (i) The petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer and co-operate with the investigation. 7.
