The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding respondents no. 2 and 3 to issue passport to the petitioner in pursuance of the application made by him in this regard. 2. Counsel for the petitioner admits that a criminal case is pending against the petitioner. 3. Sri Pramod Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the respondents no. 1 & 2 submits that the petitioner was issued a show cause notice in relation to the adverse police verification report but he has not replied to the same. 4. Counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to dispute the said submission. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by providing that the petitioner may respond to the show cause notice and also seek no objection from the concerned Court in terms of the judgement of this Court in Writ-C No. 41540 of 2023 (Pawan Kumar Rajbhar vs. Union of India and 2 others), if so advised and file the same before respondent no. 2, so that further action in the matter is taken in accordance with law.
