1. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking directions to the respondent No.2 to expedite the investigation process in connection to the FIR No. 322 of 2024, dated 14.09.2024 (Annexure P/1) within the specified time.
2. The petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the following reliefs:
“A. A writ and/or an order in the nature of writ of appropriate nature do issue commanding and directing the respondents police authorities to act in accordance with the law and complete the investigation expeditiously within a time span framed by the Hon'ble Court. B. Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts & circumstances of case.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the FIR was lodged in the month of September, 2024 but till date the investigation has not been completed, therefore, he has made a request to expedite the further investigation.
4. On a query being put to learned counsel for the State, he would submit that in the present case charge-sheet has already been filed against the accused person on 16.12.2024.
5. We have heard learned counsel for the State and perused the record.

Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and looking to the fact that the charge-sheet has already been filed against the accused person in the matter on 16.12.2024, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
