Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for the following reliefs :- "(a) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 16.12.2024 passed by the respondent no.3/District Caste Scrutiny Committee, District Ballia. (b) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the authorities concern to issue the caste certificate of the schedule tribes belonging to caste Kharwar continuously in District Ballia forthwith in the interest of justice." 3. In the present case, after remission by the Divisional Caste Scrutiny Committee, the District Caste Scrutiny Committee has once again rejected the prayer of the petitioners. 4. In the light of the same, the petitioners may file an appeal before the Divisional Caste Scrutiny Committee- respondent no.2 within a period of two weeks from today and the respondent no.2 is directed to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and the complainant-respondent no.4 thereafter pass a reasoned order within a period of six weeks from the date of filing of said appeal. 5.
