The instant PIL has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents-authorities to remove the illegal encroachment upon pond land made the respondents No.6 to 8. The instructions available with the learned Standing Counsel disclose that the proceedings under Section 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 read with Rule 67 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code Rules, 2016 for vacation of illegal encroachments have been taken out. The proceedings are on foot. The respondents-authorities are directed to conclude the proceedings in an expeditious time frame preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order after hearing all necessary parties and in accordance with law. All parties are directed to cooperate in the proceedings. The public interest litigation (PIL) is finally disposed of.
