Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent and Sri Chetan Chatterjee, learned counsel for the respondent no.2. 2. By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to provide corrected electricity bill according to reading of miter of Account No. 1627933000 of the petitioner and respondents also be directed to restore the electricity connection of the petitioner bearing Account No. 1627933000. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide and consider the representation dated 8.9.2025 of the petitioner with regard to providing corrected electricity bill according to reading of miter of Account No.1627933000 as well as with regard to restoring the electricity connection of the petitioner bearing Account No. 1627933000. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to deposit the outstanding electricity dues amounting to Rs. 1,51,614/- within a period of two weeks from today. 4. In view of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the petitioner shall deposit the aforesaid amount within a period of two weeks from today. Upon such deposit, respondent no.2 is directed to forthwith restore the electricity connection of the petitioner bearing Account No. 1627933000, in accordance with law.
