Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.PC praying for issuance of directions to respondent No.4 to present the final report in FIR No.0001 dated 19.01.2019 registered under Sections 406, 498-A IPC at Police Station NRI, District Moga with a further direction to respondent No.3 to safe guard the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members, who are being harassed and pressurized by respondent No.4 at the instance of respondents No.5 and 8 to compromise the matter with them. 2. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Jaspal Singh submits that the challan has already been presented before the trial Court on 21.05.2024 and therefore, this petition has become infructuous. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the above- said factual position. 3.
