Petitioner's claim for benefit under the Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana has been rejected on 03.07.2023 by the Block Developmental Officer which order is under challenge. The order impugned records that petitioner's husband is the only son of his parents and is residing in his own house at Mohalla- Ambedkar Nagar in Jalalabad. There are two houses and water tax etc., is also being paid. It is therefore, held that being the daughter-in-law the benefit of a separate house would not be admissible to the petitioner in terms of the applicable scheme. Findings recorded in the order of the authority is not successfully assailed. Since the petitioner is living with her husband who is found living in the same house along with his parents and there is no other son, we find no occasion to interfere with the order impugned.
