Prayer in the instant civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing letter dated 11.04.2025 (Annexure P-10) and reminder dated 09.06.2025 (Annexure P-11). 1.1 A further prayer has been for directing respondent No. 2 to re-issue passport to petitioner. 2. At this stage, Ms. Amrita Singh, Advocate appears on behalf of respondents No. 1 and 2, on a copy of petition having been served upon respondent-Union of India and submits that as on date, no application as regards re-issuance of passport to the petitioner is pending. She further submits that in case the petitioner applies afresh alongwith information/clarification as sought by respondents, the same would be considered and final decision would be taken thereon within a period of 8 weeks from the date when such application is submitted by the petitioner. 3. Keeping in view the aforesaid stand taken by learned counsel for respondents No. 1 and 2, this writ petition is disposed of. 4. Pending application (s), if any, shall also stand closed.
