No.618 of 2025. 2.The case was registered in Cr.No.577 of 2012 for the alleged offence under Section 392 of the I.P.C. r/w Section 34 of I.P.C. The accused committed theft of Rs.2300/- from the defacto-complainant. It is reported that the cash has been recovered and handed over to the defacto-complainant. The defacto-complainant does not want to pursue the case any further. The accused has been attending the case since 2012. 3.Considering the nature of the allegation, the antecedents of the accused and since the accused has been facing the case since 2012, any further continuation of the trial would impinge upon his right to a speedy trial of the accused and no useful purpose would be served. 4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.218 of 2013 of Judicial Magistrate Court, Dharapuram, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur, stands quashed.
