Case No. 40 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 17(c) & 18(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of Sri Ranjeet Kumar, learned Special Judge N.D.P.S. Act at Hazaribagh. On 09.02.2025, Chouparan Police on the basis of confidential information destructed poppy cultivation from a forest area. It was submitted that name of the petitioner has come on the basis of confidential information, given by the witnesses, whose names have not been disclosed. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Ranjeet Kumar, learned Special Judge N.D.P.S.
