This is an application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, for granting bail to the accused/petitioner i.e. Prabhat Barman, who Page No.# 2/2 was arrested on 14.01.2025 in connection with Sonai P.S. Case No.03/2025 registered under Section 22(c)/29 of NDPS Act, 1985. Mr. B. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State respondent submits that in the meantime charge-sheet has been submitted by CS No.11/25 dated 28.02.2025. In view of the aforesaid endorsement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court deems appropriate to dispose of the bail application by giving liberty to the petitioner to appear before the trial Court and in the event, the petitioner appears before the trial Court, the trial Court shall consider the bail prayer in accordance with law and pass appropriate order.
