Case called twice. None present on behalf of the petitioner. In fact on the previous hearing date also, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and this Court suo-moto listed the matter today in the interest of justice.
2. The petitioner is seeking quashing of the pending proceedings in C.C.No.4925/2022 for the offence punishable under Section 420 of IPC.
3. This Court perused the material on record. Prima facie materials are collected by the Investigation

Agency, whereby, the learned Trial Judge was justified in taking cognizance of the alleged offence.
4. The material collected in the form of statements of the charge sheet witnesses and material documents would reveal that petitioner lured general public by promising the investors that 10 times the amount invested would be paid as profit and collected money from general public, failed to keep up his promise. Taking note of these aspects of the matter, petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
