Perusal of the record of the proceedings would reveal that, in terms of order dated 01.03.2023, the instant petition was treated as a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India upon a motion laid by the petitioners herein vide CM No. 6223/2022, however, same was ordered subject to the payment of costs of Rs. 5,000/-, to be paid and deposited by the petitioner in the Lawyers Welfare Fund. Ever since the said date, as per the report of the Registry the amount of costs have not been deposited till date. Furthermore, neither the petitioner nor his counsel has chosen to appear today before this Court.
