Learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record copy of office communication dated 24.06.2025 and submits that retiral benefits have been paid to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that interest has not been paid to the petitioner on account of delayed payment of retiral benefits. Learned counsel for the respondents assures that interest component due to be paid to the petitioner shall also be released within three weeks, i.e. by 21.07.2025.

In view of above submissions, the present contempt proceedings are closed with hope and trust that

interest component payable to the petitioner on account of delayed payment of retiral benefits shall be paid on or before 21.07.2025. Notices issued to the respondents are discharged. Liberty is, however, reserved to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for the redressal of his surviving grievances, in case necessity so presents itself in future.
