This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to decide the restoration application dated 15.02.2025 for recalling the order dated 21.01.2025 passed by respondent no.2 in Case No.15446/2024 u/s 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, within the time to be specified by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that a restoration application is pending in proceedings under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, for consideration before the respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the respondent no. 2- Sub-Divisional Officer, Tehsil Chunar, District Mirzapur to decide the restoration application dated 15.02.2025 in Case No.15446/2024 under Section 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits. September 24, 2025 A. V.
