Order: This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners herein/Al to A5, seeking anticipatory bail, in connection with Crime No.21 of 2025 of Cherukupalli Police Station, Bapatla district. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioners herein for the offences punishable under Sections 85 and 119(1 ) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that marriage between the de facfo complainant and Al was performed on 21.01.2021. At the time of marriage, her parents presented Ac.2.00 cents of land, cash and gold to the accused towards dowry. Subsequently, Al started harassing the de facfo complainant both mentally and physically to bring household furniture from her parents and threatened her. It is further alleged that Al to A5 forced her to sign blank papers and threatened her to kill and demanded to bring additional dowry of Rs.10,OO,000/-. 4. Heard. Perused the record. \-= .E==

A perusal of the material on record, pr,-ma fac,'e, goes to show that except makl-ng omnibus accusations against all the accused that they are alleged to have harassed the de facto complainant, no specific act has been attributed agal'nst them. lt is represented that A1, A4 and A5 are Government employees and if they are arrested they may lose their J'ObS. ln View Of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners herein/Al to A5 on the following conditions. i) ln the event of arrest of the petitioners herein/Al to A5 in the aforesaid crime, they shall be enlarged on bail on their executing personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the concerned Arresting Officer. ii) Petitioners shall make themselves available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required, and they shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer. iii) Petitioners shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned once in a week i.e., on every Sunday between 10.00 AM and 1.00 PM till filing of the charge sheet. 6, Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed.
