Side) ******* 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.24210 of 2025 ORDER The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 04.08.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections305(a) and 331(4) of BNS Act in Crime No.237 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner joined hands with other accused and stolen 178 soverigns of gold. Hence, this case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and sought for bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and states that only 113 soverigns of gold was recovered and the remaining jewels are not yet recovered. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.24210 of 2025 5. Considering the facts, gravity of offence and the fact that only part of the stolen property was recovered and the balance property is not yet recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.
