The substantive prayer made in the instant petition reads thus:-
“In view of the facts and circumstances referred above it is respectfully prayed that directions may kindly be issued to the respondent nos. 4, 6 &7 to conclude the Vigilance Enquiry into the Complaint dated 15.05.2025 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner, which has been entered as Complaint no. 353/2025 by Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, which is pending enquiry before Deputy Superintendent of Police (D.S.P.), Vigilance Bureau, Range Ludhiana i.e. the respondent no. 7, expeditiously, and within some time frame, and to take appropriate legal action thereon, in accordance with law.”

Learned State counsel (on instructions from SI Karnail Singh) has submitted that complaint dated 15.05.2025 submitted by the petitioner will be looked into objectively, in accordance with law and requisite decision thereupon will be taken within a period of one month from today.

In view of the above, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition, at this stage, with liberty to revisit the Court by way of a separate petition, in case need/occasion so arises.
