Recorded the submissions of learned counsels for the respective parties. 2. Instant writ petition is filed by the petitioner for a direction to the opposite parties to impose penalty on opposite party No.2 in term of Section 20 of the RTI Act as there has been delay in supplying the information and also to set aside the impugned order in SA No.2883 of 2023 passed by the State Information Commission, Bhubaneswar, namely, opposite party No.1 on the grounds stated. 3. In course of hearing, it submitted that the petitioner has filed the complaint under the RTI Act under Section 18(1) thereof and the same is pending disposal. Recording the submission of Mr. Dash, learned counsel for opposite party No.1 and since, challenge to the impugned order in SA No.2883 of 2023 is abandoned and instead a direction is sought for early disposal of the complaint filed under the RTI Act, this Court is inclined to direct opposite party No.1 to do the needful at the earliest. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, the writ petition stand disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. It is further directed that the complaint under Section 18(1) of the RTI Act filed and received from the petitioner in the meantime shall be disposed by the Authority concerned at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 6.
