PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been arraigned as Accused Nos. 2 to 4 in C.C. No. 2718 of 2023 on the file of the IV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, Krishna District, for the alleged offences under Section 498-A of the IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The de facto complainant is married to the son of petitioner Nos.1 and 2, and the 3rd petitioner is the daughter of petitioners Nos. 1 and 2. It is also submitted that there are no specific allegations against 2 the petitioners and that they have no role in the marital disputes between the 1st accused and the de facto complainant. The learned counsel for the petitioners seeks dispensing with the presence of the petitioners as they are staying away. It is also submitted that the 3rd petitioner is staying in Gujarat after her marriage. 2. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court is inclined to dispose off the quash petition by dispensing with the presence of the petitioners in C.C.No.2718 of 2023, on the file of the IV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, Krishna District, subject to the petitioners submitting an undertaking to appear as and when required before the learned Magistrate. 3.
