CORAM:
HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE JASGURPREET SINGH PURI Present: Mr. Pankaj Garg, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Vikas Sonak, AAG, Punjab. **** JASGURPREET SINGH PURI
, J. (Oral)
1. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for withdrawal of the present petition in order to enable the petitioner to make an appropriate representation to the respondents for making out the grounds which are available to him for seeking extension of validity of licence beyond State of Punjab and Haryana in view of the fact that as per the impugned order, the provision for denial of extension to Delhi was that petitioner was not able to give any cogent adequate justification under the Arms Rules. He submitted that considering the nature of the profession, he requires the arms licence for the jurisdiction of Delhi as well and may be permitted to file fresh application/representation to the respondents in this regard since by way of impugned order the petitioner has been denied grant of extension only because of the aforesaid reason.
