Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case P.S. Case No. 07 of 2024 arising out Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No. 119 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii) (c)/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Palamau.
3. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 7390/2024 by order dated 28.11.2024.
4. On 25.03.2024 at about 4:10 P.M., Daltonganj Town police, on the basis of confidential information, raided a place near Mohan Cinema Hall and apprehended the petitioner alongwith co-accused persons. On search, about 49 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from their joint possession.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that petitioner has remained in custody for one year and four months. It has further been submitted that charge has been framed in this case and trial is under progress.
6. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of cannabis was recovered from joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused persons and trial is under progress, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected once again.
7. The learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
