For the Informant : Mr. Lakhan Chandra Roy, Advocate --- 04/25.08.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Madhuban P.S. Case No.95 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 85, 140(3), 61(2)(a) of the B.N.S, 2023 and Sections 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, pending in the Court of Sri. I. Z. Khan, learned J.M.F.C., Dhanbad. The petitioner happens to be the married sister-in-law of the deceased Aprajita Kumari Jha who died in mysterious circumstances in her matrimonial home. It is alleged that she was tortured to enforce the demand of dowry. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. Mr. Lakhan Chandra Roy, learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri. I. Z. Khan, learned J.M.F.C., Dhanbad or his successor, in connection with Madhuban P.S. Case No.95 of 2024. (Ambuj Nath, J.) Jay/-
