THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE HARINATH. N CRIMINAL PETITION No.2512 OF 2025 ORDER:
1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were arraigned as A.4 to A.14 in C.C. No.88 of 2019 on the file of the Court of the Junior Civil Judge, Pidiguralla.
3. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioners were charged with the offence punishable under Section 4 of the A.P. Gaming Act. The learned counsel further submits that the parties have arrived at a compromise.
4. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioners are, in fact, victims, and no evidence was found to establish their involvement in the commission of the offence under other provisions of law. Consequently, they were charged solely under Section 4 of the A.P. Gaming Act.
5. Considering the submissions, the case against the petitioners under Section 4 of the A.P. Gaming Act in C.C. No.88 of 2019

on the file of the Junior Civil Judge, Piduguralla, is hereby quashed.
6. Accordingly, the criminal petition is allowed.
