By the present Writ Petition, the Petitioner who is a septuagenarian, is seeking a direction towards the respondents’ authority to release the RAHUL JHA Digitally signed by RAHUL JHA Date: 2025.03.22 16:40:26 +0530 2 retiral dues with interest on the delayed payment. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner retired from service on 30/06/2021, on attaining the age of superannuation, however, till date, the retiral dues including the pension, gratuity and leave encashment has not been released in complete. 3. Learned counsel for the State, on instructions, would submit that the retiral dues of the petitioner will be released within a period of 4 months as the process has already been initiated. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. Having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the State that the retiral dues of the petitioner will be released within a period of 4 months, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents’ authorities to release the retiral dues of the petitioner within period of 4 months. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach before the appropriate authority claiming interest on the delayed payment of retiral dues. 6.
