1. In terms of order dated 23.07.2025 passed in WP(C) No. 1708/2025, the respondents were directed to consider the case of the petitioner for release of leave salary within a period of one month.
2. Compliance report stands filed along with order dated 29.01.2026, wherein it is stated that liability attributable to the petitioner has been assessed to the tune of Rs. 12.20 lac, whereas the cash in lieu of leave salary works out to the tune of Rs. 11.95 lac only. Accordingly, the petitioner has not been held entitled to leave salary.
3. In view of the above, the contempt proceedings initiated against the respondents are closed, leaving the petitioner free to avail appropriate remedy as available under law.
