Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 to decide the Case No. 1981 of 2022, Computerize Case No.C202214000001981 (Salik Ram Versus Mahendra Pratap and others) Under Section 331, U.P. Z.A. & L.R. Act, 1950, which is still pending before the respondent N.2, within stipulate period fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 2. It is contended that an appeal filed under Section 331 of the U.P.Z.A. and L.R. Act is pending consideration before the respondent no. 2. The sole prayer made is for expeditious disposal of the same. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction to the respondent no. 2- Additional Commissioner, Judicial-1st, Varanasi Division, Varanasi to decide the Case No. 1981 of 2022, Computerize Case No.C202214000001981 (Salik Ram Versus Mahendra Pratap and others) under Section 331, U.P. Z.A. & L.R. Act, in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the matter on merits. September 24, 2025 A. V.
