Petitioner has filed the present petition seeking directions to official respondents to initiate appropriate action, on his representation dated 28.07.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents No.7 & 8 assured the petitioner that they would get a work visa for him for Rs.6,00,000/-, out of which Rs.4,00,000/- would have to be paid in advance. Acting on their assurance, petitioner paid Rs. 2,30,000/- and also deposited Rs. 70,000/- for the flight ticket + Rs.50,000/- was spent on travel expenses. Quite contrary to their assurances, the needful was not done by respondents No.7 & 8. Neither the money of the petitioner was returned, nor he was sent abroad. Aggrieved of the same, he filed a representation dated 28.07.2025 (Annexure P-2) before the official respondents with a request to look into the matter. Allegations have been levelled that the investigating officer NISHA 2025.09.03 18:07 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CRM-M-48769-2025 -2- i.e. respondent No.5 – Deputy Superintendent of Police (H), Malerkotla, is not discharging his duties in appropriate manner. Heard. 3. Notice of motion to official respondents only. 4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No.1 to 6 - State. 5. After considering the respective submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and the averments made in the petition, without commenting on the merits thereof, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondents No.4 and 5 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 28.07.2025 (Annexure P-2), within a period of one month, in accordance with law in an expeditious manner.
