The Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is filed on behalf of the petitioner/accused to grant anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No.65 of 2025 of P.M.Palem Police Station, Visakhapatnam District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner/accused for the offences punishable under Sections 69, 75(1 ), 351 (2) of BNS. 3. Case of the prosecution is that, on 20.O1.2025, the de-faCtO complainant lodged a report stating that she was running Kirana Shop. Her husband died due to ill-health. The accused person used to visit Kirana Shop and got acquaintance with her. The accused lured her with his deceitful words and also assured her that he would take care 6f her. The accused visited her in the absence Of her family members and had sexual intercourse with her under the pretext of performing marriage. The accused also took hand loan from her showing his sickness. Thereafter, the accused Started threatening her for sexual favours. Thus, the police report. 4. Heard. Perused the record. A perusal of the material available on record goes to show that prior to the registration of the present crime, the de-facto complainant lodged another complaint against the petitioner herein, which was registered as a case in Cr'lme € 2 No.512 of 2024 of" palem police Station, for the offence punishable under section 420 read wl'th 34 I.P.C. and it appears that, the de-facto compla,'nant wI'th a ma/a I,'de intention, lodged the present report against the petjtjoner hereI.n in connection wl'th some money transaction. 5. ln view of the aforesaI-d reasons, this Court js inclined to grant anticl-patory bal-I to the petitl-oner/accused. 6. Accordingly, Ion the event of hI|S arrest, petl'tioner/accused sha" be released on bail on executI'ng a personal bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand only) each, with two suretI'eS for the like sum each to the satjsfactI'On Of the arresting police officials and also on condition that the petitI-Oner shall make hjmse]f available for investigation as and when required and that he sha" not cause any threat, inducement or promise to the prosecution wI'tneSSeS.
